about Us

Psychologist|Expert|Author|Speaker

I am one of the lucky people who gets say, “I Love My Job!” It is a privilege to sit with folks as they gain greater understanding and acceptance of themselves, push through adversities, and produce positive changes. Pulling from Cognitive-Behavioral, Solution-Focused and Social Justice-Oriented theories, I customize my approach to meet your needs. However, my therapy style is more than, “How does that make you feel?” Come ready to work! I am engaging, transparent and will push you out of your comfort zone to get the work done. Why wait for change to happen when we can make it happen?

On a personal note: I am originally from Upstate New York, where it snowed from October to April! I escaped the cold and moved to Georgia for graduate school. Love moved me from Atlanta to Texas. I have an amazing husband, close family and supportive friends. I enjoy traveling, consider myself to be a "foodie" and have a green thumb. I think (and have been told) that I have a good sense of humor, which serves me well personally and professionally!
